Unilag DLI means Unilag Distance Learning Institute, it ia a Part Time Course, for people who wish to study , while working ,it also a 5 years weekend and online degree Programme offered in University of Lagos (UNILAG)

Get your important documents like O’Level Certificate/Statement of result, testimonial and Birth Certificate/Affidavit/Age Declaration ready. This is the opportunity that you have been waiting for. The opportunity to become a recognized student at the university of Lagos is currently at your door steps. A timely action can save you from many years of waiting. The entrance application form for freshers is Seventeen thousand, five hundred Naira (N17,500). Two sittings are allowed for aspiring candidates.

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
2.1 Candidates seeking admission to DLI must meet the minimum entry requirements of Five (5) Credits in WASSCE/SSCE/GCE/NABTEB/NECO O’Level or its equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics, taken at not more than two (2) sittings.
2.2 Applicants for Distance Learning Institute programme shall not be less than 16 years of age by 31st December, 2017 i.e. applicants whose date of birth were on or before 31st December, 1996.
2.3 Any other equivalent qualifications approved by the University Senate.
The following candidates are eligible to apply:
- Graduates of University of Lagos or any other university recognized by Senate (only candidates with good honours degrees in relevant disciplines will be considered for admission at enhanced entry level).
- Holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) or National Diploma (ND) or National Certificate in Education (NCE) in the relevant disciplines. For this category, please note that only holders of HND with at least Upper Credit will be eligible for admissions at enhanced entry level.
- Holders of recognized relevant full professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, ACMA, ACIA, ACIS, ACIB, CII, may be considered for admission at enhanced level provided they have five credits at WASSCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO (O’ Level) or its equivalent, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics plus any other two subjects at not more than two (2) sittings.
- Holders of WASSCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO (O’ Level) or its equivalent with credits in five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Economics plus any other two subjects at not more than two (2) sittings.
3.0 SPECIFIC ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Year One Accounting
In addition to the general entry requirements, the Five (5) Credits must be in relevant subjects (Accounting, Economics, and Commerce)
3.2 Year Two Accounting
In addition to the general entry requirements, the candidate must possess ONE of the following:
The National Diploma (ND) in Accounting and other related fields with a minimum overall grade of Upper Credit.
The Higher National Diploma (HND) Lower Credit in Accounting and other related fields.
The Joint University Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) certificate with Credit grades in Three (3) relevant subjects.
GCE ‘A’ Level with Credit grades in Three (3) relevant subjects.
Recognized professional qualification AAT (ICAN).
3.3 Year Three Accounting
In addition to the general entry requirements, the candidate must possess ONE of the following:
The Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting and other related fields with a minimum overall grade of Upper Credit.
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of pass in a relevant discipline obtained from a recognized University.

The National Diploma (ND) in Business Administration, Business Management, Insurance, Marketing and other related fields with a minimum overall grade of Upper Credit.
The Higher National Diploma (HND) Lower Credit in Business Administration, Business Management, Insurance, Marketing and other relevant discipline.
The Joint University Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) certificate with Credit grades in Three (3) relevant subjects.
GCE ‘A’ Level with Credit grades in Three (3) relevant subjects.
4.2 Year Three Business Administration
In addition to the general entry requirements, the candidate must possess ONE of the following:

5.0 Year One Economics
QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY INTO YEAR ONE

In addition to the general entry requirements, the candidate must possess Five (5) Credits in relevant subjects, including Economics.
Year Two Economics
In addition to the general entry requirements, the candidate must possess ONE of the following:
(i) The National Diploma (ND) in Banking and Finance, Insurance, Statistics, Mathematics/ Computer and Actuarial Science and other related fields with a minimum overall grade of Upper Credit.
(ii) The Higher National Diploma (HND) Lower Credit in Banking and Finance, Insurance, Statistics, Mathematics/ Computer, Actuarial Science and other related fields.
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of pass in a relevant discipline obtained from a recognized University.

6.0 Year One Public Administration

The National Diploma (ND) in Public Administration, Secretarial Administration and other related fields with a minimum overall grade of Upper Credit.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY INTO YEAR TWO FOR EDUCATION
(a) Two A/Level passes in proposed subjects of study(Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics) plus the WASSCE/GCE/SSCE/NECO (O’ Level)or its Equivalent with credit in five subjects in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and any other science subject (For Education Mathematics at least a pass in Further Mathematics is Compulsory)
(b) National Certificate in Education (NCE) obtained from the former College of Education, University of Lagos, in the Science subjects to be offered, or from any College of Education recognised by the Senate of the University of Lagos with Credit/Merit (in proposed subject of study) and any other Science subject
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Applicants for Distance Learning Institute programme shall not be less than 21 years of age by 31st December, 2017 i.e. applicants whose date of birth were on or before 31st December, 1996
- Offer of admission to programmes listed above is subject to viable number of qualified applicants.
- On-line Print Out Results Slips will not be honoured at the point of registration.
- Candidates awaiting results are not eligible to apply.
- Certificates and not Statement of Result Slips are acceptable for WASSCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO results obtained before 2015.
- All completed application forms are to be submitted on or before 31st July, 2018.
- Candidates should be on the look out for the date and details of a selection test/screening.
