UNIVERSITIES THAT ACCEPTS IJMB

• University Of Ilorin accept Ijmb, (Unilorin), Kwara State, Nigeria. (www.unilorin.edu.ng)

Unilorin is one of the top universities that accept IJMB programme. And they have different grade points required for various courses.

Possible Grade Points for IJMB admission for Various Courses in Unilorin :

 Unillorin Accept 5-9 points for any science, paramedical, administrative course.

They require minimum of 13 pts for Medicine. Also, 8 points and above for Engineering courses.

And 7 points and above for Social Sciences /Administrative Courses.

Unilorin also require 5 points and above for Religious Studies, Languages. Lastly, they also require 5 points for most of the Courses in Arts Faculty and Agriculture.

• THE UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE, MAKURDI ACCEPT IJMB

The University of Agriculture, Makurdi accept Ijmb but under special considerations. Because of this we advice Ijmb students to perhaps choose other agricultural universities.  University of Agriculture, Abeokuta is one of the available Ijmb universities for Agricultural programme.

• Bayero university accept Ijmb in Kano State, Nigeria.  (www.buk.edu.ng)

Bayoro university in Kano State also accept IJMB programme. This should be a good news for our Kano friends. And also to those who wish to study in Kano.

Possible Grade Points for IJMB admission for Various Courses in Bayero University :

 Bayero University requires a minimum of 4 points into Faculties of Education. Also, they require 4 points for Agriculture, Arts and Languages.

For Faculties of Accounting, Engineering, and Medicine, they require 8points and above. And also 6 grade points minimum for Physiotherapy.

• Ahmadu Bello university accept Ijmb, (A.B.U). Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria.                               (www.abu.edu.ng)

We should not forget that ABU Zaria is the moderating university of IJMB programme. So, definitely, ABU accept Ijmb programme for direct entry admission.

Possible Grade Points for IJMB admission for Various Courses in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria:

ABU Accept 10 grade points and above for Medicine, Law, Engineering and Economics. And they also accept 7 grade points and above for all other courses.

• University of Abuja accept Ijmb, FCT, Abuja, Nigeria:

University of Abuja is one of the Nigerian universities that accept Ijmb programme for direct entry admission.

Possible Grade Points for IJMB admission for Various Courses in UniAbuja :

They require 10 grade points or above for direct entry into 200 level only.

But any grade point below 10 only qualifies for 100 level admission. And is to any desired course of the candidate.

Also ABU require 10 pts for 200Level Accounting. And lastly they require 10-15 grade points for Economics.

• Federal university of technology (futminna) accept Ijmb, Minna, Niger State, Nigeria.  (www.futminna.edu.)

Futminna also make the list of universities that accept IJMB. They require 5 grade points and above for other and Non-analytical Para medical courses.

Also, Futminna require the minimum of 10 grade points for engineering courses. And they Require 8 grade points and above for Food Science and Technology.

• University of jos accept Ijmb. (Unijos). Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.  www.unijos.edu.ng

 Unijos accept 8 grade points and above for most courses. And these include College of Medicine, Law, Political Science, Engineering, Nursing, Sciences, Medical Lab, etc.

Lastly for Unijos, they accept 5 grade points for all other courses and this include their school of Agriculture.

LIST OF SOME EASTERN NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES THAT ACCEPT IJMB:

• Nnamdi Azikiwe University accept Ijmb (unizik) Awka, AnambraState, Nigeria. www.unizik.edu.ng

Unizik is another one of the good universities that accept IJMB. They Require a minimum of 4points into Faculties of Education, Agriculture, Arts (Languages).

For Accountimg, Engineering, and Medicine, Unizik require 8 grade points and above.

And also they require 6 grade points minimum for Physiotherapy.

• Abia State University accept Ijmb. (ABSU) Uturu, Abia State, Nigeria. www.absu.edu.ng.

Abia State University is one of the universities that accept IJMB. Yes, ABSU accept Ijmb But Ijmb. But they accept Ijmb most times under special considerations.

SOME WESTERN UNIVERSITIES ACCEPTING IJMB :  

• Ekiti State University accept Ijmb. Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria.  (www.eksu.edu.  

EKSU is one of the universities that accept Ijmb in South West. But they do not accept IJMB as full time. Eksu only accept IJMB programme for Part-time. Nevertheless, they accept Ijmb.

• Federal University Of Agriculture, Abeokuta accept Ijmb, Ogun State, Nigeria.                   (www.unaab.edu.ng)

Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta accept IJMB result with automatic admission. UNAAB accept IJMB candidates into 200 level with a minimum of 7 grade points and above. And this is for all courses in all faculties.

SOME SOUTHERN UNIVERSITIES ACCEPTING IJMB :

• University Of Benin accept Ijmb.(UNIBEN). Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria www.uniben.edu

University of Benin Require 12points for Law, Economics and other Administrative courses.

Uniben accept 5 points and above for Science and other Paramedical courses.

Then, 5-9 points for Faculty of Education, Agriculture, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanity.

And also 8 points and above for Political Science, Mass-Comm and other relatives courses.

But Ijmb candidates should note that University of Benin do not accept IJMB into Structural Engineering.

• University Of Calabar accept Ijmb,   (UNICAL), Cross- River State, Nigeria. www.unical.edu.ng

 Unical accept IJMB as Direct Entry admission programme. Prospective Ijmb candidates should note that the University of Calabar does not accept IJMB for Medicine. They also do not accept Ijmb for Economics, Engineering and Law.

• University Of Uyo accept Ijmb, Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria.  www.uniuyo.edu.ng

 Uniuyo Offers direct entry admission in Industrial Arts and Anthropology. But this is for Ijmb candidates with 8 grade points and above.

• Ambrose Ali University accept Ijmb, (AAU) Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria. www.aau.edu.ng

AAU Accept IJMB.  ( You might want to check your UME / DE Brochure for further enquires into this university)

• Igbinedion university accept Ijmb, Okada, Edo State, Nigeria.

 Igbinedion is another univerity that accept IJMB. They Require considerable grade points for their courses. Specifically, they require 12 points and above for their College of Medicine. And also 12 points and above for other Analytical Science courses.

They also accept 7 grade points and above into 200 Level in Social Science. And this also goes for Arts, Administrative, and Agricultural courses.

Then 6 grade points can be considered for some minor courses in the school.

• Delta State University accept Ijmb,(DELSU) Delta state, Nigeria.www.delsu.edu.ng

Delsu offer direct entry admission for Ijmb candidates with good grades. Another good school on the list of universities that accept IJMB.

Please, let it be noted that all northern universities and all private universities across Nigerian states accept IJMB whether it made the list above or not.
